Well the Citea in the video is an euro 5 EEV variant of the same engine. Also the whine that is present (other than the voith) is the steering servo pump most likely. This is absent from the euro 6 versions. And it is unlikely that I can get access to one of those since the depots in question are off limits to enthusiast such as me.

First of all really nice sounds. Thank you for that.
Do you may have a video link for a citea with this sound in real life?-I don't know if you have maybe other gearboxes at your home company as me.
Thank you. I try to make my work in such a way that the audio experience is easy on the ears and immersive no matter what the subject is. The bus that I used for sounds is an euro 6 Citea LLE-120 with a Cummins ISBe 255 with a ZF Ecolife 6AP1000B. I used an older Volvo B7RLE recording to get the Voith sounds which are modular in the mod (not mixed into the engine, they are separate). The Voith in question in the Volvo was a Diwa 854.5.
The bus that donated the engine sounds: Fleet # 1544
Now the sister bus #1543 had an engine blow out just before we recorded our sounds. This might have something to do with the rough sounding nature of this series. Currently there isn't a good video of this bus in motion that would sound like the mod. However I imagine that it would be semi easy for me to hunt the bus down and record it in service if that is something you'd like to see.

Citea Pack v.0.8 added, now with exterior sounds and Voith SensoTop.
-
Citea open beta sounds added. V.0.45 currently has no exterior sounds but otherwise they work.
EDIT: If anyone knows how to fix the respawning of the bus with an empty tank hit me via PM.

When loading a bus that uses this mod, which PRECISE bus do you have to select?
Urbino 12 ZF-Ecomat and Urbino 18 ZF-Ecomat for the bendy. This is explained in the read me if I'm not mistaken.

Mm I guess I should try this again but the issue is that the many samples that I've used complicates things usually. I found out this when I tried the same with some 12 liter Volvo samples a year ago. But thanks for the tip sharing. I don't usually get that many.
-
Thank you for your input and sorry for the late reply.
The crackling is pretty unavoidable at some cases since there are so many sound samples. The alternative would be to cut the amount of engine rev samples but I feel like that would be detrimental for the experience since it would make it less lively. And also I will test out the volcurve 0.1 start. But if so the samples will play along the entire rev range.
More of my sounds are coming in the future in the Ikarus 395 (E95) Scania.

Wassup.
Sure this is your bus so you can of course choose the sounds that you want.
But know this that my work is a bit different from the rest that are usually on offer. Not to downplay your or anyone else's work for that matter but I use proper equipment and different technique than Omsi sounds are usually done. But in the end its your decision.
Example of my work, Volvo B5LH sounds:
Best of luck with your project!

May I be somewhat rude and ask for possible dibs on the vehicle sounds?
In Turku Finland there is a company that has 6 Volvo 7700's with B9L chassis and D9B engines. If this company agrees to let me go and record sounds I would like to make them for this project since the London Addon does not need them anymore. The B9TL that they have over in the UK sounds too different..
If all goes well I probably could get them done somewhere in the fall maybe if you aren't in a hurry. -
Now that I've made the regular colors of STA as well you can enjoy a full line up of Tourist Coach of Finland buses (STA).

Well I am not in any way associated with the development of this map, however I am deeply involved with other projects and thus wanted to hear some thoughts. Generally from what I've seen there isn't a lot of support for non German projects on the main stream here and I believe this is due to lack of exposure. And as such I thought the Helsinki '78 map would be great way to everyone to get a taste of what could and should be enjoyable virtually.
As in everything in life - where there is demand there shall be a supply. . .
-
To all of whom have tested this map, just out of curiosity, how did you find the atmosphere? Was the driving experience enjoyable? Would you like to see more virtual Helsinki?

I took a drive in the bus after some newest updates for you guys. Though my browser
didn't allowme to embed the video for some reason.. Edit: Thanks Routeres. :=)I've managed to eliminate the clutch slip now.

One question: Can you tell us, what exactly are the differences to the already released EAG 395, either I am blind or can´t find them.
apart from that nice Project, Keep it up!
Well the entire bus is new. Also the bus is aimed to be a realistic representation of the K113 chassis & Ikarus body instead of based on other buses files.
